While researching on the internet for information on health and diet I came across a very interesting foods in the public domain showing pictures of the similarity between some foods and our bodily organs.
All the pictures are in the public domain but I have changed most of the original text to make it easier to read. If you wish to use it ad verbatim you are quite welcome.
I wonder was Mother Nature trying to tell us something when she created these foods resembling our vital organs, as each of these foods is beneficial to the organs they resemble.
Interesting Foods 1: Slice a carrot and see how it resembles the human eye, with the pupil , iris and radiating lines all clearly visible. Medical science has also proved that carrots increase
the blood flow to the eyes enabling them to function better.
Interesting Foods 2: Again, slice a tomato in half and see how it resembles the human heart. Both have four chambers and are red. Research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine
and are pure food for the heart and blood.
Interesting Foods 3: Is it just coincidence that a cluster of grapes has the same shape as the human heart and each grape resembles a blood cell? Research also shows grapes are also an excellent food for vitalizing both heart and blood.
Interesting Foods 4: The walnut looks like a replica of the brain. It has upper and lower cerebrums, left and right hemispheres, and wrinkles are just like the
neo-cortex. Walnuts also help brain function by developing dozens of neuron-transmitters.
Interesting Foods 5: Is it any wonder they’re called kidney beans? Not only are they shaped like the human kidney, they also play a major part in healing and helping to keep kidneys functioning healthily.
Interesting Foods 6: Did you know that your bones are 23% sodium? Celery, Rhubarb and many more that look like bones also contain 23% sodium and help maintain
strong bones, stopping the body from leaching sodium from the bones if there is a deficiency.
Mother Nature must have had women in mind when creating
the following foods:
Interesting Foods 7: Avocados, and others, like the Eggplant and Pears, not only look like the womb and cervix of the female and help in their health and functioning, but also research has shown that they balance hormones, shed unwanted birth weight, and can help prevent cervical cancer.
But Mother Nature still had one trick up her sleeve! It takes exactly nine months to grow an avocado from the time the blossom is pollinated to the ripened fruit.
Interesting Foods 8: Olives represent the ovaries and assist in maintaining their health and functioning. Ovaries need fat for fertility and hormone health and the vitamins A and E found in unsaturated fat in olive oil help maintain their health.
Interesting Foods 9: Citrus fruits like oranges and grapefruits are very much like the mammary glands of the female. They actually assist in the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts and keeping the breasts healthy.
But she didn’t forget the men!
Interesting Foods 10: Mature figs are full of seeds and hang in two’s similar to the male testicles. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and also increase the numbers of sperm to help overcome male sterility.
Interesting Foods 11: Sweet Potatoes are the very much like the size and shape of the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.
Interesting Foods 12: Research has shown onions, which look like the body’s cells, help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. Garlic, a close relation of the onion, also helps eliminate dangerous free radicals from the body as well as waste materials.
